Laura is committed to excellence and delivers exceptional work to Aurelian clients.

In June 2024, Laura graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago with triple majors in Political Science, Philosophy, and Law, Letters, and Society.  At the University of Chicago, Laura served as the President of the Chicago Debate Society and managed the American Parliamentary debate team, which became the first ranked team in the nation under her tenure.  Laura will be attending the Harvard Law School starting in the fall of 2026.

Laura has a passion for criminal law and a keen interest in government operations.  At the Public Defender’s Office in New Orleans, she interned as an investigator, working on cases ranging from drug possession to murder.  At the University of Chicago, Laura contributed and co-authored an academic study published in Punishment and Society probing the extent to which progressive prosecutorial strategies reduced inequalities within prisons.  And Laura had the honor of serving in the White House Internship Program, connecting constituents with government agencies at the Office of Presidential Correspondence.

Laura was excited to return home to Western New York to join Aurelian.  She grew up in Henrietta, New York, and she was thrilled to find a law firm in the Rochester area where she could engage in meaningful work in government investigations and public interest litigation.
